This is the biggest quilt I have completed. It's a full or double size measuring 90 x 75 inches. I used a mix of new to old fabrics and tried to stay in the yellow green end of the spectrum. One of my limitations is a small apartment with a lot of furniture and stuff on the floors which makes spreading out a real challenge but I managed to get the living room floor clear enough to baste the layers together. The design is like my last quilt, a traditional block design with three bars alternating vertical to horizontal. Using chartreuse green solid with other green patterns on the top was fun and then for an added splash of excitement the reverse side is tangerine with scraps of green & white patchwork. My label is hand embroidered and I am finally getting better at controlling the size of my text embroidery. What is a challenge is to get a big quilt photographed in a small cluttered apartment so please pardon the clutter in my photos.

Just curious.. is the text of your label your actual signature or a font you printed? Looks good.

Jessica, thanks for commenting. I just did the embroidery free hand no font or lettering was used. I did it like I wrote it as a teenager. My real signature isn't very easy to read or reproduce.

That is a big quilt. I haven't made one that big yet. It is just lovely! I adore the backing with the quilt. It is a fun splash of color. And I am envious of your quilt labels. Just lovely!!
Thank you Anjeanette, I am delighted you are digging my posts and embroidery labels seem to be very popular. Does DCMQG need to have a workshop in labels? Big was a challenge in the quilting and the endurance for repetition of block making for the top.

i, too, love your labels. the chartreuse on the front and tangerine on the back is a fun way to explore color.
Heather the 3D effect was my first spark of passion to make this quilt design. Playing with bold colors is fun but sometimes I wonder if I should have been more low key, it's just hard for me to find those softer colors when I am always drawn to the bold.
